Daylight Savings Orion
Woke up, stopped the antique grandfather clocks, made some coffee (very important) took the camera out, and snapped a couple images of the constellation Orion to the south-west, just as the first orange-red light of dawn appeared to the east.
The shots looked like crap, but I realized that they were a fairly good demonstration of a trick I learned from Dale Partin of the Warren Astronomical Society: De-focusing stars so that you can see their colors better.
